While the new Captain America: The First Avenger trailer premieres tonight at 7:30 p.m. EDT (how blogger-inconvenient), the new poster hits you right now, square in the face, with a jawline from the gods and a shield from an early season of American Gladiators (when Human Cannonball was still a thing). BREAKING: Chris Evans looks like John Edwards from the side.
That’s just the amount of patriotism, stoicism, umber glow, and mensch-iness I expected. Buzz around the film is good so far, and if Chris Evans’ lupine profile is any indication, we’re in for a more ferocious and righteous caper than Thor and Green Lantern and The Help combined.
